This blog, including tutorials, patterns, photos, and everything else on it is property of Skein and Hook.  

 You are NOT allowed to claim any Skein and Hook free pattern or tutorial as your own.

 You are allowed to make finished products from my patterns and sell them but please give credit to Skein and Hook.  
        -If you are selling them online, please include a link back to the original post.  
        -If you are selling them in person, please include a note on your tag saying the pattern is from skeinandhook.blogspot.com. 

 You are NOT allowed to make finished products from Skein and Hook patterns or tutorials by machinery or for mass production.

 You are NOT allowed to use photos from Skein and Hook to sell your finished products.

 You are NOT allowed to alter any Skein and Hook photos in any way, including cropping or editing at all.

 You are allowed to link back to my original free pattern or tutorial on Skein and Hook with one image and give full credit to Skein and Hook.

 You are NOT allowed to distribute any Skein and Hook free pattern or tutorial in any way, this includes but is not limited to handing the printed pattern out, emailing the pattern, or distributing it through any online channels.  Instead please direct people to Skein and Hook so that they can view the pattern themselves.

    Is there a way I could get you to contact me? I was in the middle of doing one of your patterns when it became unavailable on the site? Is there a way I can get a copy of it

      There was a short period of time that the Emerson Car Seat Cover was not available. It is now. You need to go to the Crochet Projects, Patterns, & Tutorials tab above and look for that name, then click on the link to view the page. If there is some other pattern that you are looking for, please contact through the 'Contact Me' on the side bar (to the right) and let me know what pattern you are looking for. Thanks.

Free Crochet Pattern: Valentine's Day Headbands

I made these adorable Valentine's headbands for my daughters.  For three free crochet headband patterns and how I made them, see below! I saw the cutest heart headband floating around Pinterest and decided to make one for each of my daughters.  The tutorial for the heart headband is here and the original heart pattern is here . But instead of using an elastic headband, I decided to use a crochet one.  I made some of these last year for my girls to wear at Easter and they turned out well so I was excited to make more. Here are my hearts: For the red one, I used Vanna's Choice yarn in Scarlet with a K hook.  For the darker pink, I used Red Heart Soft Baby Steps in Strawberry with an I hook.  For the lighter pink, I used Vanna's Choice yarn in Pink with a G hook. Free Crochet Pattern: The Greene Pom Pom Scarf

I have been working on fall/winter items for my kids lately.  I came up with this scarf (there's a matching hat coming soon too!).  I love the color block look.  I showed my daughter yarn and asked her to pick out 2 colors and then I added the cream.  I used Cascade Yarns Pacific here.  I am loving this yarn lately.  I have used it to make hats, blankets, amigurumi, you name it...it is quickly becoming one of my go to yarns. This scarf is super simple.  I have written the pattern in 3 sizes but you can easily customize it to be any size you want.  I use a pom-pom maker for my pom-poms but you can find a tutorial online if you don't have a pom-pom maker or if you want to make it without one.
