Pattern Release: Upton Baby Booties

Today I released the pattern for my Upton Baby booties.  I worked these up originally for a baby gift for a family member and liked them so much that I worked up the pattern in two sizes.  What I like about these is that they are unisex and you can really change the style of each one by varying colors and buttons used. I made these two baby boy versions- Then I made this casual girl version-  Then I made this more dressed up girl version.  I was thinking Blessing booties or holiday booties. You can find this free pattern here .

Crochet Pattern: Milo Granny Square Blanket: Part 2

Milo is coming along!  I am working on the last few rounds of the border and I'm so excited to finish it and lay under it :) When I crochet a blanket, coming to the end is always bittersweet.  I am always excited to see it in all its finished glory but side I have dedicated so much time on it, I'm sad that its over.  Here are some pictures...

Crochet Pattern: Milo Granny Square Blanket: Part 1

This is a new pattern that I have been working on and I am loving it.  I am using Cascade Yarns Elysian and it is a dream to work with.  This yarn is made of 60% super wash merino wool and 40% acrylic.  The colors are rich and beautiful.  And, I LOVE the feel of it as well as the twist of it.  Here is a close up of it... There is a great selection of colors and these are the ones I settled on for this blanket. I'm loving watching my squares stack up, waiting to be made into a blanket. Somebody else loves my squares too... I hope to have it finished in the next week or two, and when I have the pattern ready, I will have yarn kits available for it in my Etsy shop too!
