I love this blanket so much!  I love it in the Christmasy colors above.  But this blanket would look awesome in any color combination- for boys or girls.  It would also look perfect in one solid color. It is really fun to make.  Even though I love making blankets more than anything, I sometimes get bored when the pattern repeats too much.  But for this blanket, I really didn't lose interest at all. Here are some close ups of the stitches- It is good as a baby blanket but also as a toddler blanket or a lapghan for anyone. I hope you enjoy making it as much as I did! This is one of the first baby blankets that I designed.  It continues to be one of my favorites.  It reminds me of delicate lace.  I think its perfect for a sweet baby girl.  Though I am sure you could make it in blue or gray and it would be beautiful for a baby boy.  I hope you enjoy making this as much as I did. The Seaside Baby Blanket is crochet mitered square blanket. It features bright colors and 4 beautiful mitered squares that are stitched together to form a square baby blanket.
