I love all of the projects that Lucy at Attic 24 makes. I want to make so many of them but usually don't get around to it. When I saw her Valentine Sweet Heart, though, I started right away.
I decided to make one for each of my girls, for there rooms or bedroom doors.
I used the following yarns and a F/5-3.75MM hook. Unless noted, I used Stylecraft Special DK yarn.

Once I made all of the flowers and leaves, I decided to take a shortcut. Instead of weaving in the ends, I hot glued them on the back side of each flower and leaf.
Then I hot glued the flowers onto the pipe cleaner hearts.
I also decided not to add the buttons because I thought they looked great without them.
I love, love, love them!
