Crochet Project: 3 Valentine Sweet Hearts

I love all of the projects that Lucy at Attic 24 makes. I want to make so many of them but usually don't get around to it. When I saw her Valentine Sweet Heart, though, I started right away.

I decided to make one for each of my girls, for there rooms or bedroom doors.

I used the following yarns and a F/5-3.75MM hook. Unless noted, I used Stylecraft Special DK yarn.

Once I made all of the flowers and leaves, I decided to take a shortcut. Instead of weaving in the ends, I hot glued them on the back side of each flower and leaf.

Then I hot glued the flowers onto the pipe cleaner hearts.

I also decided not to add the buttons because I thought they looked great without them.

I love, love, love them!

I love the concept of car seat covers/canopies. When you use a regular blanket instead, it is always falling off and you are constantly picking it up off the ground. Free Crochet Pattern: Valentine's Day Headbands

I made these adorable Valentine's headbands for my daughters. For three free crochet headband patterns and how I made them, see below! I saw the cutest heart headband floating around Pinterest and decided to make one for each of my daughters. The tutorial for the heart headband is here and the original heart pattern is here . Free Crochet Pattern: The Greene Pom Pom Scarf

I have been working on fall/winter items for my kids lately. I came up with this scarf (there's a matching hat coming soon too!). I love the color block look. I showed my daughter yarn and asked her to pick out 2 colors and then I added the cream. I used Cascade Yarns Pacific here. I am loving this yarn lately. I have used it to make hats, blankets, amigurumi, you name it...it is quickly becoming one of my go to yarns. This scarf is super simple. I have written the pattern in 3 sizes but you can easily customize it to be any size you want.
